rename with date variable

Possible for 2digit year?

Trying to get files renamed to: yymmdd, but with <##year><##month><##day>: the best I get is 200xmmdd. Is there anyway to get the year variable to show only the last 2 digits of it? ie. 090415 (posting date of this thread) instead of the 20090415 that I get now?

This is not possible at the moment. You'll need to use a rename tool with Phatch. What would be good name for this variable instead of <year>?

figured it wasn't possible due to the formatting. It's not a big deal, I just got used to the way I had previously labeled my photos. Only var name I can think of that would make sense is <yr> but I'm not sure if it'd be too confusing.
